Without an account

You can practice without signing in. Your progress, settings and history are then stored only in your browser on your own device. Nothing about your practice is sent to us.

On your first visit we note, on your device, how you arrived (for example the site that linked you, or a campaign tag in the link). It's only sent to us if you send feedback or create an account, so we can tell which posts and links bring people in.

Feedback and testimonials

If you send feedback or report a problem with a question, we store what you wrote, your rating, how you found PAT Grind if you tell us, an email if you leave one, and basic context (how many questions you've answered, your accuracy and the page you were on).

We only quote your words on the website or in ads if you tick the box giving permission. We use them exactly as written, credited the way you asked or anonymously. To withdraw permission, email us and we'll stop using your quote.

With an account

If you create an account we store your email address, a display name, and your practice history: which questions you answered, whether you were right, how long you took, the mode you were in, and the points you earned. We also store a copy of your progress so it can sync between your devices, and your daily challenge scores.

Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only as secure hashes. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use them only to create and identify your account.

How it's used

Your data is used to run the app: syncing progress, showing your stats, and building leaderboards. Leaderboards show your display name and aggregate results (points, number answered, accuracy, challenge score and time) to other signed-in users. They never show your email.

We don't sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.

Where it's stored

Accounts and practice data are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. The site is hosted on Vercel. Both process data on our behalf to run the service.

Deleting your data

You can clear everything stored on a device from Profile, then Reset progress on this device. To delete your account and everything stored with it, email bretton@trymeetmatch.com from the address on your account and we'll remove it.

Children

PAT Grind is meant for people preparing for the Dental Admission Test and isn't directed at children under 13.
